Craig Conover struggled to respond to a question that started about Naomie Olindo but seemingly pivoted to Paige DeSorbo.
During an interview on Housewives Nightcap, Southern Charm‘s bachelor served a word salad when trying to explain how he navigates breakups.
Would Craig date Naomie again?
“No.” Naomie is a “sweetheart” and “I wish her the best,” Craig began. “But, the thing with me, once a chapter is closed …”
“Well,” Craig cut himself off. “I don’t like to make definitive statements.” After starting a sentence, stumbling through it, then trying a few more times, Craig came up with, “I wish Naomi the best.”
While maintaining his public persona, he continued, “What I was going to say … it’s good to … nevermind. It doesn’t matter.”
Clearly frustrated with himself for not being able to respond clearly, Craig declared, “I’m just moving forward in my life, meeting new people.”
Circling back to the question of dating his ex, Craig noted “Naomi was season 3, season 4. Now, we’re in season 10. I need to move on to the next season.”
I couldn’t help but wonder …
Did Craig spew word salad because he’s keeping the door open for Paige?!?!
Craig began to say that once he closes the door on a relationship, he doesn’t reopen it. But, it seems he realized mid-thought that this theory applied to Naomie, but not Paige. That’s why he couldn’t spit out the sentence.
Regardless, Craig is looking to get back in the saddle. At the end of January, it was revealed the Sewing Down South founder made his way onto the ‘celebrity’ dating app, Raya.
