Fans of Survivor and Chopped, your next favorite show is almost here!
Chopped Castaways, an eight-episode spinoff of the hit competition series, is officially on the way—and this time, the chefs are heading to a remote island.
Per Food Network, the series will follow 12 elite chefs competing for a $100,000 grand prize, but they’ll have to do a lot more than just cook.
Contestants will be tasked with building their own kitchens using basic supplies and preparing meals over an open flame.
Each episode includes two intense cooking rounds plus physical challenges like archery, spearfishing, ocean diving, and digging in the sand.
If they make it through, they’ll earn access to the signature Chopped mystery baskets—which could seriously change the game.
Gabe Bertaccini, Maneet Chauhan, and Marcus Samuelsson will serve as judges, alongside host Ted Allen.
The competition will also shift from team-based challenges to individual battles as the stakes get higher.
Chopped Castaways premieres Tuesday, May 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Food Network and will be available to stream the next day on HBO Max.
