Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba had more to say to Giada De Laurentiis following the celebrity chef’s elimination.
After Giada’s elimination during the third episode of season 35, Carrie Ann took to Threads to share a heartfelt message that she wished she had been able to deliver during the show.
“I was sad I didn’t have a chance to say more on air. So I’ll leave it here,” Carrie Ann wrote.
The DWTS judge praised Giada for taking on the competition as a “true and absolute beginner.” Carrie Ann called the restaurateur’s journey “inspiring” and commended her for being courageous enough to step outside her comfort zone.
“What I think makes her so incredibly special is the grounded honesty she expressed while going through this journey, while also expressing pure glee and joy in the process of learning something new,” continued Carrie Ann.
The OG judge acknowledged that stepping outside of your comfort zone can be both freeing and terrifying — something Giada appeared to embrace throughout her time on the dance floor.
Carrie Ann concluded, “It’s wonderfully freeing to step out of your comfort zone, but only because it’s also absolutely terrifying. Bravo ❤️.”
