While doing press for Summer House Season 10, Carl Radke gave fans an update on where he stands with fellow Bravoleb Venita Aspen.
“We’ve been talking,” Carl shared at 92NY in New York City on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
“It’s been… we’ve had fun,” he continued, before opening up about a recent date.
“We went to a restaurant in Brooklyn. Had a really nice time. And there’s a lot to talk about between two shows that have been going back and forth.”
ICYMI: Venita previously revealed on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast that she and the Summer House star went on a five-hour date—completely shut the restaurant down.
Fueling romance rumors even more, both Carl and Venita posted that they were en route to England, leaving fans wondering if the two were on a baecation. Turns out, the overlap was strictly work-related.
“She’s really sweet,” Carl said.
“We hung out in November. I saw her again in December. I was just in London for Bravo and Peacock for English Premier League soccer. She was there. We’ve been friendly. It’s nice.”
Still, it sounds like Carl is proceeding with caution as they explore a potential connection—especially when it comes to long distance.
Referencing Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo’s recent breakup, Carl explained why he’s taking things slow.
“I’ve got a lot going on,” he said. “So, you know, she lives in Charleston, [I’m] in New York City, so we’ve all seen how that goes,” he joked.
In addition to running his non-alcoholic bar Soft Bar in Brooklyn, Carl recently released his memoir, Cake Eater, and launched a new podcast, More Life with Carl Radke.
