Bravoholics knew we were in for a good time when Below Deck Down Under‘s Captain Jason Chambers hosted the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City women for a charter on his megayacht.
Jason told Us Weekly that he and his crew “didn’t know what we’re in for … but wow. What a wow,” regarding his three days with the RHOSLC cast.
What to expect:
Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Mary Cosby, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, and Britani ‘I Have An Announcement‘ Bateman ride the waves with Captain Jason and his crew. Despite Bronwyn Newport filing out her preference sheet, her “involvement on the trip is TBD after renewed drama with Lisa,” as per Us Weekly.
The crossover event – which begins airing on Tuesday, October 28 – is a big one, promised Jason. ”What a way to start a season, I’ll tell you.”
“To be quite honest, there’s a lot going on now. There’s a lot happening, and I don’t think you could fit that much into a three-day charter.”
Captain Jason promised, “They are number one. They’ve taken it to a new height.”
“I don’t think we’ve had [that] much drama go on, [but] it was so much fun too. I don’t know how much I can say, but from some injury happening.”
“I’m playing doctor to one of them.” Jason joked, “I was a doctor; I was a yoga instructor; I was a Zen master; I had to be everything to try and calm the whole thing down.”
Jason credited Bad Weather for the origin of RHOSLC and BD’s crossover:
According to Jason, he’s hung out with Whitney and Heather on multiple occasions for various Bravo events. When Heather reached out and wanted to come and charter, Jason couldn’t resist the Bad Mormon‘s offer.
“They’re so lovely, all of them,” he said. “We were so grateful. [The crew felt] blessed that they had that time with them. They’re really beautiful people. However, we know what they like when they’re together. You’ll see that. I’ve tried everything to try and break the ice. I brought some yoga and some Zen into it to try and stop it. But I don’t think there’s anything we could have done to calm it down.”
The crash out of Lisa Barlow seemingly continues:
In the preview for the crossover episode, Lisa is put in the hot seat. Some of her castmates question why the press turns on them when she’s feuding with them.
“If we pull them apart at each end of the boat, it’s a lot quieter.”
Captain Jason concluded, “As soon as they come together, it’s just on.”
