Candiace Dillard-Bassett is making one thing very clear — she’s not heading back to The Real Housewives of Potomac anytime soon.
The former RHOP star confirmed her stance on the Undomesticated Podcast, shutting down any speculation about a return.
“I do not have any plans to return to Potomac at this time,” Candiace said.
“I am not having those conversations.”
According to Candiace, fans have recently been “begging” her to rejoin the cast.
Viewers seem to be feeling her absence now more than ever, especially considering Candiace never shied away from going toe-to-toe with Ashley Darby.
Based on online chatter, many fans aren’t enjoying Ashley this season—particularly as she continues to pick fights with current fan favorite Stacey Rusch.
In hindsight, the Drive Back singer may have been ahead of her time.
Had she brought that same energy to the current season, there’s a good chance the audience reception would look very different…
Bravo may be in her rearview mirror for now, but Candiace isn’t leaving the NBC family entirely.
She’s set to appear on Season 4 of Peacock’s hit competition series The Traitors—a project she says she’s “very excited” about.
