Love Thy Nader‘s Brooks Nader struggles with “self-confidence,” which led her to use medical weight loss drugs.
The model told Us Weekly she’s still working on feeling good in her own skin.
Learning to Love Thy Self:
“I’m still working on my self-confidence and just my journey with that every day. It’s different now.”
When asked if she’ll ever stop using GLP-1 medications, the model replied, “I mean, I think it’s a learn as you go situation and trial and error.”
According to Brooks, she’s just like us … “I fluctuate like everyone else. So it just depends.”
As seen on TV:
Viewers watched Brooks struggle with her dependency on weight loss drugs on her HULU reality show.
Brooks’ three younger sisters, Sarah Jane Nader, Grace Ann Nader, and Mary Holland Nader, even staged an intervention because they were so “worried” over her “concerning” amount of GLP-1 use.
In episode 7, the Nader girls sat Brooks down after Grace Ann and Mary Holland found an excessive pile of needles and bottles of the GLP-1 drug in their apartment.
“Just seeing all of the needles piled up in one place makes me realize the gravity of how deep she’s gone in it. This is different doctors, clearly. This is different pharmacies,” Mary Holland claimed.
“That’s dangerous. She’s overprescribed. This amount is so concerning.” Sarah Jane, who confessed to also taking a weight loss drug in the past, said she believes “something deeper is going on” with Brooks.
The pressures of modeling:
Brooks snapped, “Why do you think I’m on GLP-1?”
“Because every job I do, it’s like you have to fit into a certain standard and a certain measurement, and they’re straight up measuring my hips for all these new fashion jobs I’m getting into in Paris and Milan.”
“There’s requirements I don’t meet,” explained the bombshell. “And I know how vapid this industry is. If I say no to it, they’re just going to pick someone else.”
