Bronwyn Newport clarified her absence during the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City group dinner following the reunion taping.
In Case You Missed It: During Whitney Rose’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star mentioned the cast went out to dinner after the reunion.
Well, the entire cast minus Bronwyn and Mary Cosby.
A RHOSLC fan DM’d Bronwyn and asked why she was MIA for the post reunion celebration.
After she replied, the fan tweeted the interaction.
Missing in Action:
“I didn’t hear about the dinner until I was already somewhere else! Bummed it seems to being made now into a negative thing,” Bronwyn revealed in the private message.
“I did my best at the reunion to apologize where needed and be open to other’s perspectives. And I was absolutely there for the ladies when I felt I could be and should be.”
“Watching the show back l’ve learned a lot about myself and them so I’m happy with how the day of filming went even if I don’t agree with everything that was said.”

How the pendulum swings
It’s interesting to watch Bronwyn’s reception as the season winds down. In the beginning it seemed she was an instant fan favorite and standout as a first season housewife.
Now, I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if she opted to not return for a second season due to how social media has impacted her experience.
Social media seems to ruin the plot of many of the franchises and we haven’t yet caught up to it.
I still enjoy Bronwyn and the color she brings to the franchise.
Tastebuds, we’ve reached the end of the road. Next Wednesday is the season finale and then the three part reunion commences.
