Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport said goodbye to her father, David Richard Newport, who passed away on June 13, 2025, following a sudden fall and rapid health decline.
Bronwyn announcement her dad’s death:
Bronwyn shared the following message on social media. “Yesterday, we were told he most likely only had a few days.”
“It has been a huge shock to lose someone seemingly so suddenly that yet we’ve been caretaking through such a long illness.”
“I am so grateful to have been able to be by his bedside all week and in his final moments to help both him and my mom. I’m grateful we had some idea what was happening toward the end [because] so much of our family could gather to be with him.”
She concluded the message by saying her family is now “processing this profound loss.” Bronwyn’s mom “wanted me to share so those who knew and loved him could think fondly of him at this time.”
Bronwyn’s going through it:
In addition to her father’s passing, she fashion lover has faced other personal hardships. In recent months, she experienced the death of her 9-year-old dog, Claire.
Bronwyn’s mother has serious health issues. She needed emergency brain surgery in December 2024. Despite these hardships, Bronwyn credited her mother for instilling in her a deep sense of compassion and service.

Despite Bronwyn joining the RHOSLC cast as Lisa Barlow’s friend, the pair are seemingly not on good terms. Lisa declared, “I don’t think about her unless I’m asked about her, or she goes on Twitter.”
Bronwyn and her husband, Todd Bradley, experienced difficulties in their marriage. Never forget, she mentioned that Todd had an emotional affair on camera, and he was far from ok with it.
