Brittany Cartwright is finally addressing the chatter surrounding those viral paparazzi photos of her and new beau Brandon Hanson vacationing in Mexico.
Last week, cozy shots of the couple on the beach hit the internet and quickly set off a wave of speculation.
Fans wondered if the pics were staged for publicity or even for a storyline on The Valley.
On her podcast, When Reality Hits, Brittany shut down the rumors.
“There was nobody on the beach and we were just looking at how beautiful everything was and like having fun,” she explained.
“And the very next day, all these photos are coming out of us on the beach.”
According to Brittany, she never spotted a single photographer—on the sand or at the airport—and insists the idea of calling paparazzi is simply not her style.
“I would never do that first off. Second of all, I was not even ready. I have not been posting and doing things.”
Addressing GG’s Comment
Cruz’s mom took a moment to respond to Shahs of Sunset alum Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi’s body-shaming remark under a fan page’s post.
“I had no issue with her at all,” Brittany said. “So it was just strange. Like, I would never as a woman or as a human being.”
Brittany added that she wasn’t on her phone much during the trip and only caught wind of the social media back-and-forth between GG, Kristen Doute, and Zack Wickham on the very last day.
Rather than dwell on the drama, Brittany wants to turn it into something bigger:
“It’s gotten too far on social media. And we’re all in the Bravo world. And I’d rather just make this like a learning moment, a teaching moment than be like, we get so much hate on a daily.”
Honestly? Brittany handled the situation with grace. Whether or not she really missed those lurking cameras is up for debate—but either way, let the girl live!
