Brittany Cartwright gives her podcast listeners an update on her friendship status with Katie Maloney.
A listener wrote into When Reality Hits and inquired if Katie reached out to Brittany following news she filed for divorce from Jax Taylor.
“Not really,” she said on the March 23 episode.
“I want nothing but the best for Katie. I still have so much love for her.”
The Valley star reflected on how close the friends once were. “I mean, she was the matron of honor in my wedding.”
Katie and Brittany’s friendship never recovered after the Cauchi’s opted to not attend Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark’s 2022 Italian nuptials despite RSVP’ing.
The Something About Her owner took Stassi’s side (understandably) and severed ties with Jax and Brittany by proxy.
However, Brittany has tried to extend an olive branch to Katie in recent weeks.
“She did reach out in the beginning whenever I went through my separation. So I thought that was so nice. I have reached out to her like, you know, her father passed away, which is horrible.”
Unfortunately, she hadn’t heard back from the Disrespectfully podcast host.
“I have nothing but love for her. If I saw her out, I would give her a big hug and everything like that. But no, we haven’t like really reconnected in that way,” Brittany admits.
Cruz’s mom also acknowledged Katie’s new relationship with Sleeping with Sirens guitarist, Nick Martin.
“She’s in a new relationship and she seems so happy. She looks beautiful.”
