The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright appeared on Bravo’s Hot Mic with Alex Baskin. Cruz’s momma is addressing the hypocritical claims she’s hooked up “within the friend group.”
How Brittany Got Her Groove Back
“First off, I didn’t think I was going to hook up with his friend,” she began.
“It wasn’t planned, I wasn’t trying to go after one of his friends. That wasn’t how it happened.”
Brittany went on to detail the *actual* arrangement she and Jax have.
- They are to not bring any person to their joint house since Cruz lives there. (Britt claims she caught Jax with women at the house two different times)
- They are not to bring any dates around Cruz.
ICYMI: Brittany has stayed in various Airbnb’s since their split in January. To keep consistency for Cruz, he stays there while the duo rotate out.
“I’ve never lived in LA without Jax, which is also new for me.”
Until Brittany said that, I didn’t realize that her entire identity in LA has been attached to Jax. It’s probably a sense of freedom, but also insecurity, attempting to navigate this big city (for the first time) as a newly single mom.

“I was so mad at Jax so I didn’t care if I hurt his feelings about that. He never cared about how he hurt my feelings for years.”
“He put me down, he did so much to me so its like I’m sorry that you’re so upset about who it is but at the same time, you didn’t give me attention, affection or anything for years.”
