Dancing With the Stars‘ Britt Stewart felt supported by her fellow pro dancers after her and Taylor Hanson‘s shocking elimination on Season 35’s Yacht Rock Night.
Britt and Taylor were guests on The Lady Gang, where Britt explained how in step the professional dancers are, in and out of the Ballroom. “The Dancing With the Stars pros, we’re very interconnected. We’re also trauma-bonded as well,” quipped Britt. “We go through this experience every single year.”
“Then, a big chunk of us also tour,” added Britt. “So we also live with each other for months at a time.”
“A lot of people are like, ‘What was happening in that moment?’ When one of us feels something, we all feel it. That’s what that interaction was at the end of the show.”
ICYMI, Taylor and Britt were sent home after earning an 18/30 for their foxtrot to “What a Fool Believes” by The Doobie Brothers. Technically they weren’t the lowest-scoring couple of the night. However, America’s votes still weren’t enough to save them from elimination.
DWTS pros took to social media after the show to share their support for the freshly departed duo. Witney Carson shared a message to Britt on her Instagram Stories. “I love you so much. You are an absolute star in every way.”
Alan Bersten wrote, “Britt you are the sweetest angel and I’m so proud of you. I feel so lucky to share the stage with you, and to call you my friend, and I hope you know how incredible you truly are.”
Season 32 DWTS finalist (and Hanson superfan … TASTE!) Ariana Madix also made her feelings known, dropping a disapproving GIF under the official Dancing with the Stars Instagram post announcing the elimination.
