Brielle Biermann is defending herself after getting called out over the timing of a video featuring a wedding dress she almost picked.
On Aug. 9, the RHOA daughter uploaded a video of herself trying on a Vera Wang gown for her upcoming nuptials to Billy Seidel.
However, fans quickly questioned the timing of Brielle’s post.
Popular influencer Brigette Pheloung, aka Acquired Style, tied the knot over the weekend in Newport, Rhode Island.
While Brigette just officially shared her wedding dress yesterday, someone leaked photos of her Vera Wang gown over the weekend — which happened to be the same day Brielle posted herself trying on the same dress.
Brielle’s comment section lit up with accusations that she was trying to steal Acquired Style’s moment and capitalize on the leaked gown for views.
“So it’s just a coincidence that youre posting this as the first pics of acquired’s dress got leaked…. Rightttt,” one comment read.
The bride-to-be quickly replied:
“Do you think i ran to Vera wang today to try this dress on and post it Imao. also, i haven’t seen a single thing of her wedding dress! If she chose this she chose well!!!! I bet she looked stunning.”
Brielle also uploaded an Instagram Story Monday night showing the timestamp from her dress try-on and further addressed the speculation.
“As you’ll see, I made this video on Friday. We had it scheduled to be posted on Sunday for engagement purposes. I’ve never met Acquired Style & did not know she was getting married this weekend, let alone see a leaked photo of her! She clearly has great taste that she went with Vera Wang for her dress!!”
At this time, Brigette hasn’t addressed the dress drama.
