Below Deck‘s Kate Chastain‘s close friendship with Captain Lee Rosbach set sail after they stopped working together.
At BravoCon 2025, Kate told Us Weekly that geography and life have steered the former colleagues away from each other.
No hard feelings!
“I’m just so busy with my toddler,” began Kate. “I think it happens when you work with somebody.”
She continued, “You’ve got something in common to talk about. Now we don’t,” she added. “The ship has sailed. I’m happy for him and I’m happy for me.”
The former chief stew previously confirmed that she hadn’t spoken with her former boss. “I moved away from Fort Lauderdale and obviously we don’t work on boats together anymore.”
“But he was always such a big part of my life that we’ve lost touch a little bit. But I wish him very well,” concluded Kate.
