Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Garcelle Beauvais celebrated the release of her newest Lifetime movie, Taken At A Truck Stop, with Sutton Stracke‘s former assistant, Avi Gabay, in attendance.

Bravoholics adored Avi, who had been Sutton Stracke’s longtime assistant. Fans often sided with Avi after seeing how Sutton treated him.
As Sutton and Garcelle became close friends, Avi became chummier with Garcelle.
After Garcelle decided to walk away from the show and her ‘friendship’ with Sutton, it appears Avi has sided with the Actress/Model/Executive Producer.
Avi “evolved” from his employment with Sutton … as per Sutton:
In May, Jeff asked a simple question. “Is Avi still working for you?” Sutton’s response was clear as mud. “In my opinion, Avi is no longer working with me.”
“We’re still friends,” continued Sutton. “I love Avi. He’s like family. No, he’s no longer working for me.”
“Everything was working out. It’s just, things evolve. It’s different now.” Jeff tried to get more info from the Southerner, but Sutton remained tight-lipped. “Things have evolved. He’s always been an independent contractor.”
Getting frustrated, Jeff persisted, “Did you fire him or did he quit? Did you let him go?” Sutton replied, “We parted ways.” Doug, Jeff’s co-host, held Sutton’s feet to the fire. “Was it mutual, though?” Sutton concluded, “Um. I’m not sure. You have to ask Avi. Things have just evolved. It’s different now.”
Rumors spread that Avi couldn’t take the verbal abuse from Sutton any longer.
