After sparring with Angel Massie for much of The Real Housewives of Potomac cast trip to Colorado, Ashley Darby is now coming to her costar’s defense.
“This backlash that is happening with Angel’s business, and people giving her bad reviews who have never used her travel service,” Ashley began on Jan. 30.
“I think that’s crossing a line.”
To catch you up to speed, upset Potomac fans have begun leaving negative reviews for Wanderland Outdoors — the travel business Angel runs with her husband, Bobby Massie.
Tia Glover was the first cast member to call out fans for taking things too far, and Ashley has now followed suit.
“Just because you see it on the show, it’s just not right to bombard her business with bad reviews that are unwarranted,” Ashley said.
The situation hits particularly close to home for Ashley, who once co-owned a restaurant with her former husband, Michael Darby, that experienced similar review-bombing.
ICYMI: The Australian-themed restaurant, formerly located in Arlington, Virginia, permanently closed in June 2019 after four years in business.
In earlier seasons of Potomac, viewers watched the strain the restaurant put on Ashley and Michael’s marriage.
The couple was also expecting their first child just weeks before deciding to shut it down.
