Bravo TV exec Andy Cohen shaded Bethenny Frankel, the founder of Skinnygirl Cocktails, for her “suffocating” social media content.
Andy discussed the former Real Housewives of New York star’s TikToks on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.
Andy isn’t interested:
The father of two told John Hill that he was on TikTok and came across Bethenny’s content. “Boy, that margarita lady.”
“Oh my god, it’s suffocating. I couldn’t.”
John informed Andy that B posts “like 14 [videos] a day,” which was too much for the WWHL host.
“Anyway, that was a one and done for me,” he shared. “She doesn’t come up on my Instagram. I don’t even know if she’s on Instagram.”
This isn’t the first time Andy shaded B:
Almost a year ago, Andy recalled a story with Lisa Rinna about a RHONY Legacy episode.
“It is the woman who used to be on the show with a margarita mix, and you …”
“… and Luann [de Lesseps]” interrupted Rinna. “And Kelly Bensimon,” added Andy.
After a back and forth, Andy thought, “It might have been the one when ‘The Margarita Lady’ [aka Bethenny] told Luann, ‘You’re a snake’” on camera, remembered the pair.
Reality Reckoning:
Bethenny campaigned for reality TV stars to be compensated with residuals for their work, like actors and writers. She also claimed reality television exploits its stars.
“I can tell you with great certainty that everyone at Bravo likely despises me, including Andy Cohen, because it’s very personal and because they have to protect the realm.”
“It’s a very complicated thing I walked myself into, whilst also burning bridges and seeming like I’m biting the hand that fed me, but I fed myself. There are a lot of people who didn’t get fed.”
