Former Vanderpump Rules personality Ally Lewber set the record straight regarding her alleged move to South Carolina and her rumored role on Southern Hospitality
Ally joined Katie Maloney and Dayna Kaythan on the Disrespectfully podcast to give a status update.
It’s not in the stars for Ally to be in Cali right now:
“I have not moved. [But,] I think I’m moving. I have been feeling pushed out of LA. Two months ago, my car was stolen from my apartment complex. I haven’t found it or anything like that.”
Ally continued, “Then, my podcast, that little season that I had wrapped. It’s not getting picked back up. It was supposed to [continue]. But it was just expensive to make. My team was amazing. It was just a lot to make. And I don’t think the numbers were there, truthfully.”
“But that’s okay. I loved it. I had so much fun. And I do think like there’s a part or a point in my life where like it’ll come back and I’ll like do something with that because I loved it.”
Ally’s cross-country journey:
“I was already in Charleston visiting family and friends. And I was there for a week and I had a lot of fun. So, I just decided to get a cute Airbnb and like go there for a month and just like try it out. And I loved it. I had a lot of fun.
“I’m highly considering [moving to Charleston]. I have family there; I have friends there.” Ally clarified, “I love LA. I don’t want people to think that it’s like, oh, I hate LA. I need to change. I’ve just been feeling numb here, honestly.”
“I can do my reading still. I can do everything I’m doing now, there.”
Plus, Leva has restaurants and bars. So when I was there, I would sing and play out at like her little restaurants, which was really fun.”
Let’s talk about the SoHo rumor …
Ally did admit to filming for Southern Hospitality, but very little. “I think I only filmed one even group scene, so I really wasn’t much involved with it.”
When asked how SoHo compared to filming VPR, Ally said it was “so different.” She said there was “less shouting. It was tame. I didn’t witness drama. I’m here in kind of a quiet time.”
Ally spends her time in CHS “working.”
She included that she has friends there, so she “would just go out and have fun [and] go to the beach.”
