Alix Earle is opening up about one of the most difficult chapters of her life.
The viral influencer shared a deeply personal video honoring her mom, Alisa Earle, and her journey through a cancer diagnosis.
“Go momma! So proud and inspired by you. No challenge you can’t face and come back stronger. Love you,” Alix captioned the post on January 12.

Alix confirmed that her mom was diagnosed halfway through the season — and still showed up every single week to support her from the ballroom.
While competing on one of the most demanding shows on television, Alix was navigating her mom’s cancer diagnosis, a very public relationship with NFL player Braxton Berrios that was falling apart, and the pressure of having to show up as the best version of herself each week.
ICYMI: Alix competed on Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars alongside pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy.
She ultimately placed second behind Robert Irwin.
Throughout the season, fans noticed Braxton was never present in the ballroom, fueling speculation that their relationship was on the rocks.
While the couple later confirmed their split was amicable due to growing in different directions, the personal struggles Alix referenced during the season were largely tied to her mother’s health battle.
