Alexia Nepola gave her thoughts about being labeled as Marysol Patton’s “mouthpiece.”
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Real Housewives of Miami star didn’t shy away from the topic.
“I have been in the past, so I will clear that up,” Alexia admitted.
“Maybe in the past I’ve done it — not because she tells me to do it, but just because I feel like I need to speak for her.”
This season, however, the Cuban doll feels things are different. She explained that she’s stepped back from having to fight her bestie’s battles.
Though fans and the cast are still convinced Marysol is pulling strings from behind the scenes.
Many of the women (and viewers) believe Marysol is the “puppet master” stirring up group drama but avoiding direct conflict — while Alexia takes the heat for saying the quiet parts out loud.
Alexia doesn’t seem too bothered by that reputation. She’s loud and proud and doesn’t care about being disliked as much, unlike Marysol, who’s more strategic with her words.
Honestly? Alexia definitely takes more backlash than Marysol — but maybe that’s just because Marysol knows how to play the game.
