Married at First Sight star Adrian Szymaniak has died at 39, one year after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
Adrian, who appeared on the Polish version of the reality series, was battling a brain tumor before his death.
His wife, Anita, announced the heartbreaking news on Instagram.
“With great pain we inform that Adrian has passed away,” she wrote. “In these extremely difficult moments, what matters most to us is silence, closeness and the chance to say goodbye to him among those nearest to him.”
The couple met while filming the third season of Married at First Sight and married in 2018. They went on to welcome two children together.
Adrian and Anita also renewed their vows in December 2025.
Throughout his cancer battle, Adrian documented his journey on Instagram, sharing updates about his treatment and outlook.
“I share my story because I have no other options, but also because I believe it can give someone hope,” Adrian previously wrote.
Adrian’s death comes just weeks after the passing of another Married at First Sight alum. Ryan De Nino, who appeared on Season 2 of the U.S. version, died in August.
