Dancing With the Stars pro Witney Carson expressed her gratitude for DWTS: The Next Pro, highlighting how intense the gig can be.
In an interview with Deadline, Witney weighed the pros (pun intended) and cons of life as a DWTS pro.
“I am so grateful that we’re able to get a little bit of an inside look of what the pros go through,” glowed Witney, who recently revealed she’s having a third child.
“We really do sacrifice a lot” as pros. “We leave our families.” Witney continued, “We are 24/7 strategizing. We go through a lot mentally and physically to be able to make these celebrities shine and be able to let them have all the credit.”
“That’s our job – to uplift them and to make them look like the best that they possibly can. And that’s just part of the job.”
DWTS: The Next Pro changed how audiences perceived the pros. “The fact that we are getting some appreciation for what we do, it feels really good. It allows people to get to know us and get to know what we do, what we love so much, and what we are so passionate about.”
