Whitney Leavitt is leaning on Ariana Madix for support ahead of her Broadway debut!
Whitney is weeks away from stepping into the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway.
Her limited six-week run begins February 2 at the Ambassador Theatre.
If you didn’t know, Chicago is well known for stunt casting the role of Roxie.
Other icons who have taken on the role include Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna, Ashley Graham, Ariana Madix — and now, Whitney.
DeuxMoi spoke with the dancer about her predecessor and fellow Dancing With the Stars alum, Ariana.
“She’s been like my number one person that I’ve gone to for any advice,” Whitney said.
“I’m probably driving her nuts, but she responds every single time.”
Much like Whitney’s arc to Broadway, Ariana had a similar trajectory.
Ariana’s Arc
In 2023, the Vanderpump Rules alum competed on Season 32 of Dancing With the Stars, partnering with Pasha Pashkov, where she finished in third place.
Ariana played Roxie Hart in two separate engagements in 2024 — first from January 29 to April 7, and then again from August 1 to September 1 — breaking box office records during her initial run.
Whitney is hoping to add her own flair to the role, incorporating more dance than before.
“I’m just excited to generally put myself into the role and add little elements that naturally come to me into Roxie.”
Last season on DWTS, Whitney and her partner Mark Ballas performed an Argentine Tango to “Cell Block Tango.”
Following her elimination, Whitney and Mark appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she teased her Chicago run.
On December 1, 2025, the popular MomToker was announced for the role of Roxie Hart in Broadway’s Chicago.
If Whitney’s Broadway run is anything like that dance, we’re in for a fun one!
