The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ Whitney Leavitt and Dancing with the Stars pro Mark Ballas canceled their self-organized fan giveaway.
ICYMI:
The season 34 competitors took to TikTok to announce that they would be giving away two tickets to a taping of the live show. Flights and accommodations would be covered by Whitney and Mark for the two lucky fans.
In order to enter the giveaway, all fans had to do was comment their favorite Ballas-centric meme on the original video announcing the giveaway.
Canceled:
Whitney and Mark (who earned the first 10s of the season) announced on TikTok that the giveaway was off.
“So we have some bad news. We just got out of rehearsal, and we were both informed that we actually can’t do a giveaway for the Dancing with the Stars live show.”
Mark revealed that the news had come directly from ABC and BBC.
It’s “completely out of our hands.”

While their original plan didn’t pan out, the dancers plan to pirouette to a new idea. “It just really sucks because Mark and I just wanna do something really special for you.”
“We’re gonna get creative. We’re gonna think of something,” she promised.
Mark concluded, “We’ll think of something ELSE to do for you guys to show how grateful we are.”
