Wendy Osefo is breaking her silence after making headlines for her shocking arrest on multiple fraud charges earlier this month.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star returned to Instagram on October 19 to share a message of gratitude and faith — marking her first public statement since the scandal.
“And through it all, GOD remains faithful,” Wendy wrote.
“Thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time. We are forever grateful.”
ICYMI: On October 9, 2025, Wendy and her husband Eddie Osefo were arrested in Maryland and charged with multiple counts of insurance fraud.
According to authorities, the couple allegedly filed a false report in April 2024 claiming their home had been burglarized.
They told police that several luxury handbags and pieces of jewelry had been stolen — but investigators later found inconsistencies in the timeline.
Officials allege that some of the “stolen” items were later returned for refunds, while others were spotted being worn by Wendy in social-media posts after the supposed break-in.
Following the arrest, Wendy reportedly resigned from her faculty position at Wesleyan University, though early reports suggested she had been fired.
The controversy also affected her Bravo career.
The Potomac star was completely edited out of the upcoming “Wife Swap: Real Housewives Edition”, which was originally slated to premiere on October 14 with her episode leading the season.
Wendy’s message comes ahead of tonight’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
