Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are facing more than $1.5 million in unpaid federal taxes, adding another financial hurdle for the couple more than a year after President Donald Trump pardoned them.
According to records obtained exclusively by Page Six, the Internal Revenue Service filed a $1,571,452 federal tax lien against the reality TV couple in Davidson County, Tennessee, on August 19, 2026.
The lien reportedly includes two separate unpaid tax assessments. The first totals $142,410.72 for the tax period ending December 31, 2021, while the second amounts to $1,429,041.89 for the period ending December 31, 2022. The assessments were dated December 5, 2022, and December 11, 2023, respectively.
The latest tax troubles come after Todd, 57, and Julie, 53, received presidential pardons from Trump in May 2025, ending the prison sentences they were serving for bank fraud and tax evasion.
ICYMI, the formerly incarcerated reality TV stars were convicted in June 2022 of conspiring to defraud banks and evade federal taxes. Prosecutors accused the couple of obtaining more than $36 million in fraudulent loans using falsified financial documents.
The money was allegedly used to fund a lavish lifestyle that included luxury cars, designer clothing, real estate, and travel.
Todd was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison in November 2022, while Julie received a seven-year sentence. Both were also ordered to serve supervised release following their incarceration.
However, Trump announced their pardons in May 2025, and the couple was released from federal custody shortly afterward. Their release allowed them to reunite after spending more than two years apart.
