Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul remains hopeful that her season of The Bachelorette will eventually air.
Taylor took to her Instagram stories to thank her fans for starting a petition to get her season of The Bachelorette released. “You guys started a [Change.org] petition for the show. I love you all.”
“I signed and left the link [above],” noted TFP. Sharing a screenshot of the petition on a follow-up slide, Taylor added three crying emojis. At the time this article was written, Taylor’s petition had 21,283 signatures.
The petition is titled Release the Unaired Season of The Bachelorette of Taylor Frankie Paul. “We, the fans of The Bachelorette, are demanding the release of the unaired season that was already filmed and ready for viewers.”
“This decision has taken away a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity from a woman who earned her place. [Also,] from fans who were ready to support her journey.”
“Many of us stand firmly with Taylor Frankie Paul. We have followed her, we know her heart, and we recognize her as a devoted mother and a real person who has shown growth, vulnerability, and strength.”
“As supporters, we are deeply concerned about how quickly narratives can spread. It is deeply unfair for her entire opportunity to be erased while public discourse continues elsewhere.”
“We are asking ABC to reconsider and choose a more balanced approach, such as: Releasing the season with a disclaimer; Making it available on a streaming platform; Allowing viewers to watch and form their own opinions. Fans are not asking for perfection; we are asking for fairness. Do not let her story be taken away. Let the audience decide.”
