Taylor Frankie Paul has little faith that her ex, Dakota Mortensen, will have the self-control to not creep up on set once she starts filming The Bachelorette.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, TFP explained why she would understand if her first husband and his wife tuned into see her on ABC’s dating show.
The ex-factor:
Taylor was asked if she thinks her exes will tune in. “I don’t need that. [But,] yes. They’ll be watching. I know my ex-husband and his wife watch Secret Lives, so I assume they’ll watch this.”
She put herself in their shoes, and she would want to know the man who may be co-parenting their children. “I would do that. I can’t speak for them, but I think they’ll be watching. Both of them.”
When asked about Dakota, TFP wonders if he’s crash The Bachelorette set.
“[If] he’s here, that wouldn’t shock me.”
Rolling her eyes at his endless antics she continued, “Shocker, you did it again. For me, I wouldn’t be shocked.”
The history:
Taylor and ex-husband Tate Paul divorced following the infamous MomTok swinging scandal. The controversy involved Taylor hooking up with various couples within their ultra close Mormon community. Dakota began dating Taylor after her and Tate’s split in 2022.
Dakota and TPF welcomed their son, Ever, before their September 2024 separation. Taylor also shares daughter Indy and son Ocean with her ex-husband.
“Tay deserves so much more,” said Liann May, Taylor’s mom, of Dakota.
Dakota didn’t take the jab lying down. He clapped back almost instantly. “Super healthy for us co-parenting… Keep it up, momma bear lol.”
