While the Real Housewives of Orange County production team wasn’t happy that Tamra Judge quit the show during a cast trip, she’s not in danger being fired.
Because Tamra is standing by her friend, Teddi Mellencamp, as she battles cancer, many people around Tamra are giving her grace for her dramatic display.
Two T’s:
Amidst Teddi’s health crisis, Tamra quit RHOC while filming in New Orleans. Allegedly, she had a heated exchange with Gretchen and walked away.
A source close to the group told The US Sun, “Tamra is having a more difficult time right now. She continues to process her friend’s ongoing health battle.”
“Tamra is in a more volatile state right now because of Teddi’s condition. That’s no secret. Her meltdown was absolutely intensified because of how unstable she is because of Teddi. At least that’s what people around her think.”
Cast reactions:
“Some of the cast members have a lot of compassion for her and understand her best friend is going through something so unbelievably excruciating which in turn has been a heavy, heavy weight for Tamra,” explained the source.
“But, some are accusing her of using Teddi’s health crisis to put a band-aid on her bad behavior.” They continued, Tamra hopes to “dismiss certain comments she’s made that led to their tense talk [which] led to Tamra storming off the show.”
“Her overreaction is a mix of also having a difficult time processing what is going on with Teddi.”
“Tamra is very sensitive right now.”
Will there be repercussions to Tamra quitting?
Production is “not thrilled” she’s speaking quitting midseason; she is not in danger of getting fired.
“They understand there’s a lot of layers going on with her right now. If she does decide to come back, then they’ll allow it.”
