Million Dollar Nannies‘ Sydney Siegel is seen on Hulu‘s new reality show being scrutinized for her outfit by a potential employer, causing her to feel immediately judged.
During the first episode, Sydney is among the nannies interviewing with the Guiribitey family for a position watching their young daughters, Alma and Aurora. Camila Guiribitey said to her mom/the kids’ grandmother, Taty Guiribitey, “She’s so pretty, almost too pretty,” to be the children’s nanny.
Camilla asked Sydney during the interview, “Any particular reason why you decided on an outfit that has such a big cleavage?” Taty added, “We don’t want to see your titties.”
Sydney spoke with PEOPLE about feeling “immediately judged” in her first interaction with the family. “Obviously, they said my boobies were out,” as seen on the show. Sydney quipped, “I don’t have any, so I don’t know what they were talking about.”
According to the Million Dollar Nanny, the family’s demands were “normal.” Sydney did, however, take issue with the way she was treated overall by her employers. “Obviously, we [all the nannies] weren’t together, so I didn’t know if everybody else was being treated the same way.”
Despite their first interaction, Sydney snagged a contract with the Guiribiteys after the show ended. “Our relationship just evolved, and I proved myself to them. Now they’re amazing.”
Million Dollar Nannies follows a young group of “elite” nannies as they establish a childcare agency in Ibiza. “Built by nannies, for nannies.”
