Tim Leach and Mark Dammann were contestants on a 1991 episode of Supermarket Sweep. Little did the Hermosa Beach set painters know their game show appearance would spark a conversation about the pair 33 years later.

While watching reruns of Supermarket Sweep (relatable), X.com user, @TomZohar, posted an affectionate nod to Mark and Tim, who introduced themselves to host David Ruprecht as “business partners.”

The Big Sweep:
Well, the internet did its thing. The post made its way to the couple who clarified they not only worked together, they are a couple! Tim told Slate.com, “We were married in 2008, the first day you could get married, June 17. Now we both work as flight attendants for Southwest.”
Tim and Mark may not have won the show’s ‘The Big Sweep’ round, they won in life!
Status update:
Tim sent a message to fans. “Here we are! Just celebrated our 41st anniversary. Married in 2008 on our 25th anniversary as soon as it was legal in California. We ran a business together designing and painting backdrops and sets for 27 years.”

Since the pair both work for Southwest Airlines, they travel often. The couple has recently enjoyed time in Hawaii, saw a slew of Broadway shows while visiting New York City, and experienced a Greek getaway.
