Summer House star, Carl Radke, HARD launched his SOFT bar and cafe concept. The non-alcoholic establishment was teased they are, “๐Popping up around NY summer 2024.”
@SoftBarCafe‘s Instagram bio described themselves as “๐นBrooklynโs first non-alc bar + cafe for mindful consumption (coming soon).” They also played with the words ‘Here you are.’ Proving that punctuation matters, the message encouraged self expression with the addition of a comma. “Here, you are.”ย Carl shared his excitement inย @SoftBarCafe‘s comment section. “Here, we go!” Yes, he committed to the comma.ย
Lindsay Hubbard’s ex reposted Soft Bar’s post to his Insta story. Carl wrote, “*Drumroll ๐ฅ* … It’s officially happening. Follow along @SoftBarCafe for more updates and announcements coming your way soon.”
Bravo TV fans react:
- Soft boi. Funny and cringe but I also love it and believe these kind of dwellings are SO necessary
- Omg; the name vs Carls sexual historyโฆ๐ฅธ
- Actually pretty proud he did it. I think this will be a huge hit. A lot of people are sober now a days.
- How mature for a grown ass man to name his business after his mysognist attitude twds his ex.
- Soft… I’m dead ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ He can thank Linds for that one! ๐

In case you missed it:
Carl first expressed his desire to create a sober bar on season 8, episode 3 of Summer House. He told his former fiancรฉ, “I’m proud to be a voice for things that I’ve been through and hopefully help other people. So, I’ve been thinking about a sports bar, non-alcoholic. A sober sports bar.”
“I want to lean into non-alcoholic stuff, whether it’s opening a cafe or sports bar, which, by the way, I’m about to,” he said. “I’ve got a team together, we’ve raised some money, and we’re actually going to open something here in New York. It feels like my calling. It’s finally looking at me, and I want to go pursue that.”
IMHO, this is the worst Bravo business name since Schwartz & Sandy’s. Channeling my inner Carrie Bradshaw, “I couldn’t help but wonder” …ย was ‘SoBar’ was already taken?
