Canada seems like the perfect place for a share house, eh?
Per The Hollywood Reporter, NBCUniversal has officially greenlit Summer House Canada, the first international adaptation of the hit Bravo reality series.
The 10-episode Canadian version will premiere exclusively on Hayu in 2027.
Like the original, Summer House Canada will follow a group of friends escaping to a shared house on weekends throughout the summer, where careers, relationships, and friendships inevitably collide.
Casting is reportedly already underway.
The series will be set in Muskoka, Ontario — a region known for its stunning lakeside cottages and forested landscapes, where wealthy Torontonians retreat to unwind from city life.
Hendrik McDermott, Managing Director of International Direct-to-Consumer at NBCUniversal, shared in a statement:
“We’re thrilled to bring this adaptation of the standout Summer House format to the market, and Muskoka offers the perfect, iconic Canadian setting to introduce and build on the franchise’s momentum.”
