Stassi Schroeder: the queen of Halloween, birthdays, and now—boundaries.
The Vanderpump Villa star has always been candid about what she will and won’t do, especially when it comes to reality TV.
After eight seasons on Vanderpump Rules and a highly publicized exit in 2020, Stassi was given the chance to rejoin the cast—or even jump into the franchise’s spinoff, The Valley. But she said no to both.
Why? Because it didn’t feel right.
On her podcast (and in her latest memoir), the New York Times bestselling author revealed that turning down Bravo wasn’t about ego, money, or missing the spotlight—it was about peace.
“Why would you say no to a top show?” she asked rhetorically on her podcast.
Her answer? “It didn’t feel right going back to Vanderpump Rules.”
Stassi admitted she understood the potential: exposure, redemption, a huge paycheck. But in the end, she chose herself.
“I’m a boundaries queen, and I really like to check in with my intuition, my gut, my soul,” she explained. “What is actually going to bring me peace?”
That gut-check has clearly paid off.
Stassi is thriving as she’s currently in England filming season 3 of Vanderpump Villa, and her very own Hulu series is also on the way!
Sometimes the hardest “no” makes space for the biggest “yes.” And sometimes, slow and steady really does win the race.
