The McBee Dynasty‘s Steven McBee shunned West Wilson‘s alleged stance (who knows if he’s being honest) of welcoming trans women to women’s sports.
West co-hosts the Show Me Something podcast with Sophie Cunningham, who recently vocalized anti-trans rhetoric.
Steven appeared on the Tomi Lahren Is Fearless podcast and shared how he respects Sophie for standing her ground against her co-host’s opposing view. “As a man, the transgender sports thing doesn’t necessarily affect me because if a woman wanted to come over and and play in men’s sports, ‘Hey, good luck.’ I don’t think any man should be really speaking from their perspective on things.”
“I think the women’s side of that is the only one that should have an actual opinion on things or vocalize that,” continued Steven. “And for Sophie to say what she did, you know, all the respect to her for coming out and standing firm in her beliefs.”
Sophie wants to “protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sports who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.”
West, on the other hand, spoke on behalf of trans athletes. “Transgender athletes in American sports are such a borderline non-existent issue. Right-wingers have convinced a massive portion of people in our country that these people are, like, a threat to sports in America, when mathematically it’s not the case at all.”
Steven supported Sophie. “I feel bad for Sophie getting it like she is. I’ve told her that over and over. I’m like, ‘Hey, respect to you for sticking firm to your beliefs and not wavering from them.’”
