September 2026 was a lot for reality TV fans.
From cast announcements & departures to gender reveals & losing loved ones, the month delivered plenty of moments worthy of a good kiki.
For the Traitors (and Faithfuls)
Phaedra Parks and Chris “CT” Tamburello confirmed they are dating after meeting and getting to know each other while filming The Traitors US season 2.
Just after The Traitors: New Blood premiered, Peacock announced the next cast, which goes back to public figures. Familiar faces include Kristin Chenoweth, Craig Conover, Bronwyn Newport, Rashad Jennings, Whitney Leavitt, and Bianca Del Rio.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
Mikayla Matthews chose to leave Hulu‘s juggernaut reality show, as staying on SLOMW would go against her moral code. She noted that her own childhood experience growing up in a home with abuse made her uncomfortable supporting that environment.
In response, Taylor Frankie Paul said she fell victim to intense cast bullying and a collective “pile-on” regarding her personal life and children, and she seemingly quit the show, too.
Say Goodbye
Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber lost their 27-year-old son, Presley Gerber, to a drug overdose and subsequent cardiac arrest. The model, who was the only sibling to Kaia Gerber, died on Sunday morning, September 20, 2026, in a rehab facility.
