At NBC-U’s upfronts, Bravo TV announced a new series seemingly inspired by Hulu‘s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and Netflix‘s Hunting Wives called Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives.
Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives [Working Title]’s logline:
“In the heart of Texas Hill Country is the picture‑perfect town of Boerne, where wealth, beauty, faith, and family reign supreme.”
“Centered on a tight-knit circle of glamorous women, this series follows their lives as they raise families, run ranches and farms, and manage sparkling social calendars in a town rooted in rodeos and tradition.”
“Behind the polished smiles and Sunday sermons, however, there are intimate relationships and forbidden romances that test loyalties and marriages. The town’s pristine image is jeopardized, proving that perfection is far more complicated than anyone could imagine.”
Cast members and a release date have not yet been revealed for the upcoming show.
Word on the street …
Us Weekly reported, “Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives comes after another production company hinted at plans to use Netflix’s The Hunting Wives as inspiration for a reality show after the scripted series’ success in July 2025.”
Additionally, a production company put out a casting call in August 2025. “A major streaming service is casting a close-knit circle of Southern friends navigating faith, friendship, and life’s untold chapters for a major docuseries.”
