Former Vanderpump Rules star, Scheana Shay, misses her former “best friend,” Ariana Madix.
During an appearance on the Casual Chaos podcast, Scheana dished on her current relationship status with her ex-BFF.
It’s not happening:
According to Scheana, she and the Love Island USA host exchange pleasantries, but that’s about it.
“There will be an occasional text, one way or the other, from me to Ariana. Maybe a happy birthday from Ariana to me. But, there’s not a lot of communication.”
“I miss her. She was my best friend. I know we’ll always have such a deep love for each other, and friendships ebb and flow. Maybe one day it flows together. But, for now, I love seeing all her success.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Scheana noted that Ariana went from working at SUR to owning a sandwich shop was part of the reason the show “didn’t make sense anymore.”
Jeremy Madix thinks Scheana manipulated his relationship with his sister:
Now that time has passed, Jeremy wonders if he got played by Scheana in her feud with Ariana. By his account, he and Scheana were once very close. But when she publicly labeled him as “problematic,” the vibe shifted.
“When she said that I was problematic, it made me kind of ask the question like… were you using me to hurt Ariana this whole time?” Jeremy admitted.
He clocked Scheana for allegedly leveraging her friendship with him as a subtle dig at Ariana, especially in the shadow of Scandoval.
Jeremy also pointed out that Scheana now seems to be attempting some “girl’s girl” reputation clean-up. “It’s a little late. You had your moment to do that in season 11. We could have all rallied around my sister.”
