Scheana Shay isn’t exactly feeling the love from her bestie.
On her Scheananigans podcast, the Vanderpump Rules alum admitted she was surprised by Lala Kent’s lack of enthusiasm around the release of her first memoir, My Good Side.
A fan asked if the two were still friends after noticing Lala didn’t post much about the book.
Scheana confessed she noticed too…
“I mean, yes, you do expect your closest friends to post and support,” Scheana explained.
“I sent everyone a really nice PR box. I’m sure you guys saw from some of the others who posted.”
When her Palm Springs neighbor didn’t feature the book or the PR box, Scheana reached out to check if it ever arrived. Lala responded that her mom and brother handle all her packages and she’d double check.
Still, it wasn’t until a week later that Lala shared a single photo of the book — with just a tag, no caption, and no fanfare.
Scheana made it clear she and Lala are still friends, but she doubled down on being underwhelmed by the photo.
Some fans think Lala might’ve been a little salty seeing Scheana’s memoir praised when her own 2021 book struggled to make a splash.
I think I tend to agree.
