Rosie Woods took to social media to set the record straight on affair rumors.
“None of this is up for debate,” the RHORI star captioned her Instagram explanation on May 26.
It’s worth noting Rosie turned off comments on the video.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island star said she felt forced to address the rumors after they made their way onto “straight male Twitter” thanks to Barstool founder Dave Portnoy.
“First and foremost, I do not know Ed Cooley,” Rosie began.
“I’ve never met Ed Cooley, I’ve never been in a car with Ed Cooley, and I’ve never had an affair with Ed Cooley.”
Rosie maintained she has never met the Georgetown University head basketball coach and claimed he definitely did not buy her house.
“We bought our house ourselves with the money we make at our big grown-up jobs,” Rosie continued, seemingly shading Kelsey Swanson, who she implied may actually have someone bankrolling her lifestyle.
Rosie also addressed allegations that she was fired from her TV anchor job because of an affair with a “higher up.”
The former anchor shared part of her previous contract, which listed her reason for leaving as “medical,” not because of an alleged affair.
According to Rosie, once her medical leave ended, she ultimately decided not to return to the job.
“I don’t care about any of this stuff, none of it’s real. Keep the accusations coming,” Rosie concluded in her defense.
Now the question remains: do you believe Rosie?
