Hours ahead of the premiere of the third episode of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s sixth season, Bravo TV dropped the season’s taglines … but no new cast photo (personal gripe, btw.)
The season 6 cast is a carbon copy of season 5, down to ‘friend of,’ Britani Bateman … who we are confident has an announcement prepared for if/when she gets a coveted snowflake.
The taglines:
Heather Gay – “My nest is almost empty, and this bird is ready to soar.”
Meredith Marks – “While you drop lies, I’m dropping the beat.”
Bronwyn Newport – “If my closet had skeletons, at least they’d be well-dressed.”
Angie Katsanevas – “I’m Greek, and the rest are just a tragedy.”
Whitney Rose – “Roses are red heads, Violets are blue, Don’t come for me, or I’ll come for you.”
Mary Cosby – “I’m just here to eat, drink, and be Mary.”
Lisa Barlow – “I don’t go low, I go the distance.”
(IMHO) Taste or Waste: RHOSLC s6 taglines …
Heather – “My nest is almost empty, and this bird is ready to soar.” Waste. For a skilled author and orator, this tagline is basic AF.
Meredith – “While you drop lies, I’m dropping the beat.” TASTE! Love the throwback to Meredith’s side gig as DJ, and the monotone delivery is high art.
Bronwyn – “If my closet had skeletons, at least they’d be well-dressed.” TASTE! We’ve got current storyline drama with her classic focus on fashion, no notes.
Angie – “I’m Greek, and the rest are just a tragedy.” TASTE! For as tired as I am of hearing Kyle Richards reference Beverly Hills in her tagline, I’ll never pass up an opportunity for Angie to remind me she’s Greek. Plus, I just finished re-reading Hamlet and Shakespearean tragedies are the only thing that can compete with RHOSLC.
Whitney – “Roses are red heads, Violets are blue, Don’t come for me, or I’ll come for you.” Waste. Sure, the tagline is cute, but it is a tad generic for my liking.
Mary – “I’m just here to eat, drink, and be Mary.” TASTE! Proving simplicity can be the best avenue, Mary knows who she is and we love her for it!
Lisa – “I don’t go low, I go the distance.” TASTE! Timely, relevant, a throwback to a recent quote, this is how it’s done.
Again …
