Real Housewives Of Potomac has been “delayed” as the network figures out the show’s next steps.
An insider told TV Deets that season 10 of RHOP is up in the air since Karen Huger was sentenced to a year in prison.
Change of plans:
On March 1st, a source told People that Potomac planned to film without ‘The Grande Dame’ in March while she serves her prison sentence.
But, TV Deets alleged “filming has been pushed until sometime in April — at the earliest.”
Regarding the season 10 cast, word on the street is that “none of the women” from season 9 have been asked back at this point. Not one.
“Bravo is really excited about the next season but none of the women have been officially asked back.” So, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch, Keiarna Stewart, and Mia Thornton all all allegedly waiting by the phone for an offer!
Bravo TV “had a whole plan for Season 10 but Karen’s situation has definitely thrown a wrench in things.” At this point, “Everything is up in the air.”
RHOP ratings:
TV Deets‘s source added, “Bravo has been happy with the ratings and overall fan response to Season 9.” It was reported they hope to “keep that momentum going. But, some involved are worried about rushing into Season 10.”
“Karen wasn’t even at the reunion and her name was mentioned non-stop,” pointed out the insider. “There are a lot of great things about this current group, but [Bravo TV is] trying to decide if they can really afford to do a season without [Karen].”
“No one involved wants to mess up Potomac.”
