Real Housewives of Atlanta is back, finally!
Though the Georgia peaches are back, not everyone is returning for sweet season 16. Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton are not returning, and Kenya Moore was suspended during filming.
However, Porsha Williams is back as a full time housewife, and Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks are set to return as well.
Phaedra’s return to the franchise comes as Kenya got the boot for revealing sexually explicit photos of newcomer, Brit Eady.
It’s been said that Phaedra only filmed a few weeks due to Kenya’s sudden exit.

This season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta feels like nothing we’ve seen before on this specific franchise. At least that’s the vibe I got from the trailer.
Porsha is the nucleus connecting Housewives past with Housewives present. Fans were so excited to hear Porsha was returning for the nostalgia factor; but she’s been MIA since 2021.
An entire season centered around one person is a risky choice! But it doesn’t mean it won’t work.
Another critique I’ve noticed online is how similar to Love and Hip Hop season 16 feels. Something about the trailer did have similar undertones.
Overall, I’m open to giving this new era of RHOA a chance. It might feel completely different but honestly, is that such a bad thing at this point?
