Summer House star Paige DeSorbo reflected on the “damage control” she did in her three-year relationship with Craig Conover.
On the Summer House After Show, the model/influencer explained how her perspective on Craig has evolved.

“I really was very blinded” in my relationship. The Giggly Squad co-host explained, “I think I loved him so much that I tolerated too much. And now that I’m out of it and I look back at things, I’m like, ‘Oh, wait.’”
For one, “anytime” Paige had a personal or professional milestone, Craig would “find a way to make it about him.” Hindsight is doing its thing for the fashionista. “That’s something that I look back on now. I had to do a lot of damage control. It was just embarrassing.”
Upon further reflection, Paige finally clocked that she and Craig “probably” did not have great communication. She was too “straightforward and stern” for his liking. Craig would tell her, “You’re harsh.” So, Paige “would kinda have to stay more quiet” when he would voice his opinions. “[Craig] would always take it as a personal attack.”
Time to Giggle:
Paige noted that the success of her podcast, Giggly Squad, also affected her relationship with Craig.
“When I started having panic attacks this fall while I was doing [live] ‘Giggly Squad’ shows, he just thought it was because I worked too much. So, it played into his, ‘Well, you work too much, and you shouldn’t be doing all of this’” narrative.
While Paige maintained that she felt like she could “always say whatever [she] wanted” to Craig, hid some of her career breakthroughs.
“There were times when things would happen in my career. Would I tell him? No, absolutely not. Like, when I would get certain milestones, no, I wouldn’t tell him. I knew he would want to be happy for me, but deep down he would not be.”

The How To Giggle co-author disclosed that her ex had encouraged her to watch a documentary about Swedish pop group ABBA’s journey with touring to show touring “ruined their marriages and their lives.”
Paige disclosed, “I just got a beta blocker prescription” for anxiety. “But, thank you so much for the nightly TV watch,” she quipped.
