Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Mikayla Matthews is tired of the untrue accusations that she’s not shown up for Taylor Frankie Paul nor Jessi Draper in recent weeks.
Mikayla commented on @themormonwivesreport‘s Instagram page, where she clapped back at the fake news.
Mikayla clapped back:
In a post from April 20th, @themormonwivesreport shared a post that Jessi liked, which clocked that members of MomTok had stopped “posting support” on Jessi and TFP’s Instagram posts. The post stated, “True friends don’t bail when it gets messy. It actually says more about who they are.” Mikayla commented, “Interesting,” on the thread.
Another social media user said it was “so odd” that Mikayla would weigh in on the post after several weeks had passed. Mikayla popped off, “because I’m fed up.”
Her comment was called “very rude.” Mikayla pointed out the “biased double standard.” She continued, “I’d genuinely love to see how you’d handle being in the same position we’re in. If you feel entitled to comment on our lives, don’t be surprised when we respond. I’m not someone who switches up my opinions just to save face online. If you don’t like it, feel free to scroll instead of leaving a snide comment on a post about me.”
The show must go on:
After a short pause from filming after TFP’s Bachelorette season was canceled, the Mormon Wives are filming again.
In late March, multiple sources told PEOPLE that the Hulu show had stopped production after multiple cast members had refused to work with TFP.
Your friends at Taste of Reality attended Hulu’s Get Real event on April 22nd and witnessed several members of the SLOMW cast filming. Neither Taylor nor Mikayla was present, but Jessi was there!
