Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks took to social media to threaten a lawsuit against Whitney Rose for what she drunkenly said on stage regarding what really happened on the plane ride from hell.
Lisa Barlow and Britani Bateman weighed in on the feud.
How it started:
In February, Whitney popped off – well, as much as she could legally – about Meredith Marks‘s infamous plane meltdown at Brea Improv in California.
A fan asked Whitney about the unseen incident from season 6 of RHOSLC. “Girl, I was on the airplane. Meredith is f*cking lying.” Whitney added, “Lisa Barlow is lying.”
“The only reason you don’t know the truth is that there are lawsuits from people that are way bigger than me. I could lose my job over this. [There are] people who protect those b*tches from lying.”
“Meredith accosted Britani on the airplane,” declared Whitney. “She’s a f*cking b*tch. I hate her. I like Lisa better than I like Meredith.”
Another fan asked if Whitney had footage from the plane. “I’m going to be very clear. I can’t answer because it’s a legal issue. Let’s just say this. If five women saw and say the same thing … If Mary [Cosby] rallied around Britani …”
How it’s going:
Meredith posted a comment to a video of Whitney’s rant from her appearance at Brea Improv. “Yes, it was a full flight.”
“A lot of people were on the plane, but somehow there is no footage from anyone, no repercussions legally or from the airlines.”
“This is slander.”
“Should I file a defamation suit against her? I didn’t think anyone was dumb enough to believe her, but maybe I am wrong and need to take legal action. Well, perhaps not.”
In a low-key blast about Whitney’s financials, MM concluded her message with, “You can’t squeeze blood from a turnip.”
Lisa Barlow slipped into the comments to support her fellow Glam Kitten. “Slander,” she wrote with five white heart emojis.
Meredith’s alleged victim, Britani Bateman, chimed in. “Absence of Evidence is not Evidence of Absence.”
Do you think Meredith will proceed with a lawsuit against Whitney for slander?
