Brooks Marks changed his opinion on how to approach reality TV after his first season on Next Gen NYC, according to his mom, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Meredith Marks.
Meredith is Mother:
“Next Gen was an insane journey for me,” explained the bath enthusiast. “Not just with Brooks, not just with Chloe [Brooks], with all of them.”
“I felt a strong sense of motherhood for everybody. It’s really a great group. They are.”
Regarding Brooks Marks, double KS, Merdith thinks “he nailed it.”
Brooks’ POV has evolved since Next Gen filmed:
Brooks “has to make choices for himself. I think he approached his first very similarly to how I did in the sense [of being] conflict averse. I ‘disengage,’ whatever it may be. It’s the same end result.”
Meredith continued, “I think he sees because he would criticize me a lot over the years. Like, ‘Why did you get so involved in that?’ Now he says, ‘Well, maybe you do need to speak up.'”
“When you’re silent, other people speak for you. He learned that lesson. So, I don’t know. It’ll be interesting to see.”
“It’s a choice. You make the choice. You want to be silent and take that risk. Or, do you want to speak up?”
