Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality Mauricio Umansky blasted “liar” Lala Kent.
The former Vanderpump Rules star – who now appears on The Valley – told her Untraditionally Lala listeners about the “weird” message she got from Kyle Richards’ estranged husband.
Mauricio told TMZ his side of the story.
Lala VS Mau:
“She’s such a liar,” began Mauricio. “It’s not even funny.”
“I was thinking about posting the post, but I’m going to tell you she’s a liar. I did message her because she was talking shit. I said, ‘You want to talk shit about me, I’ll talk to you.'”
“She said in the podcast that she never opened the text.”
Mauricio is contemplating whether he should out the mother of two. “I’m gonna post the text. The last word on my text – and it’s a long text – says ‘Let’s have coffee.'”
“In her podcast,” Mauricio continued, “She said, ‘I invited you to have coffee.’ The only way she knew that I asked her to have coffee was if she had opened the f*cking text.”
“I’ll post if I decide to post. I don’t want to talk about her. Just don’t talk shit,” concluded The Agency Founder and CEO.
Lala’s lie – according to Mau:
Just days ago, Lala claimed Mau has reached out to her. “I don’t even know if I should be sharing this,” Lala began, noting the interaction happened “so long ago.”
According to Lala, Mauricio reached out after she discussed his split from Kyle on her podcast. “I got a DM from him, something along the lines of … he would like to grab a coffee,” she recalled.
Lala described it as “the weirdest DM,” especially considering the timing. Ocean and Sosa’s mom said she never opened or responded to it because there was “no chance” she was putting herself in that situation.
The podcaster theorized Mauricio may have wanted to address the public narrative surrounding the split, since she had spoken about it on her podcast. “I’m certainly not gonna be caught out getting coffee with ya,” she joked.
Additionally, Lala pointed out that plenty of other podcasts were discussing Mauricio and Kyle’s separation at the time. “If you’re upset about the podcast, there are many podcasts that are talking, so we’re going to need to make this a group meeting.”
