Former Dancing With the Stars pro, Maksim Chmerkovskiy spilled that his sister-in-law, Jenna Johnson, is having a hard time with her partner, actor Corey Feldman.
Maks, whose brother/Jenna’s husband, Val, is also a pro on DWTS, told the Daily Mail that Jenna is having a “really difficult time” working with the legendary Gen X actor.
Maks got messy:
“Obviously, Jenna has a bit of an uphill climb with Corey,” explained Jenna’s BIL. “[It] is easy for everybody to say from [outside], but I know that she’s having a much more difficult time with this entire thing, and to the point that it is really difficult for her.”
Maks, who appeared on season 2 of The Traitors US, reminded the trolls who TF Jenna is. “You’re talking about a reigning champ, so put some respect on the name.”
The root of the issue:
According to Maks, Corey’s age isn’t the problem. But, his lack of dancing abilities and work ethic is where Corey struggles. Learning choreography isn’t in his wheelhouse, and allegedly, the entire experience was out of his comfort zone.
“Don’t forget this production is not just about you and your partner dancing. It’s about this massive behemoth of everything that’s happening: the amount of people that you have to deal with, the amount of interviews, and this is all between your rehearsal time and your therapy. You are trying to lick your wounds and all that stuff.”
Maks knows Jenna is a “tough coach” and will do her best to get the job “done.”
“That show requires you to be able to tell grown people what to do.[You have to stand your ground.”
